About Pat

My life has always been fueled by curiosity, challenge, and a willingness to explore new paths. Along the way, I completed the New York City Marathon—my first and last—and earned my single-engine pilot’s license, flying a Cessna 172. I felt like I was flying on the wings of angels.

My interest in holistic health led me to earn certification in American herbalism through Rosemary Gladstar’s Sage Mountain herbal school and to study Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Writing, however, has remained my first love, a constant. I have authored four mystery short-story collections and numerous plays produced throughout the United States and Canada. My love of theatre led me to become a theatre critic. After writing more than thirty reviews for Theatrius, I was accepted into the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle, and went on to form my own theatre review org, Front Row Review, writing over 200 + more.

Each of these experiences—from flying solo thousands of feet above the earth to exploring psychology, holistic health, theatre, and storytelling—has deepened my fascination with people, the mind, and the unexpected paths our lives can take. They have given me what every writer treasures: a lifetime of experiences to draw upon to unfold more diverse stories.
